Google Sheet Filter Views

Google sheets are a great resource for sharing data.  If you want to be able to filter data without impacting other users try Filter Views. They can be created and shared by multiple users without impacting the data that others see when opening the sheet.  Note: Users that have Read only access to a document can use Filter Views

Create Filter Views:

1) Select the row with your column headers

2) Select the Filter icon and Create new filter view


3) Use the filter option on each column to display the data you want to review

4) Give your filter a name

5) Close the Filter View.  Create additional Filter Views, as desired, by repeating these steps


Using Filter Views:

1) Select the Filter icon.  Select the name of the Filter View you want to use.  Select None if you want to view all data.
